We were commissioned to manufacture and fit a mahogany handrail, in fact utile which is an African mahogany, onto the core rail of the wrought iron balustrade. The stone staircase is by our working colleagues of the Stonemasonry Cie and the balustrade is by Etienne Egloff of Borley Brothers.

The handrail was finished on site; first stained and then waxed to give it the depth of colour of ancient mahogany handrails.
